The NBA In The Past
The NBA stands for National Basketball Association. It was founded on June 6, 1946. There were many differences from the Nba when it first started and today. At the beginning, there were only 11 teams that played only played 60 games a season. Each game was 48 minutes. The players wore short shorts that went down to their thigh. Thankfully, most of those changed through out the years.
The NBA Today
The NBA has changed for the better. There are now 30 teams that play 82 games each season. Also, the shorts now go below their knees. But, like always, the games are still 48 minutes. Today, the NBA is one of the most popular leagues in the world. The league has come a long way from when it first started. The players is one key component in the NBA's success.
The Players and Teams
The NBA has some of the best athletes in the world today. Like Lebron James, Kevin Durant, and Chris Paul. But in my opinon, the best players are from when the league wasn't as famous as it wasn't now. Like Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. And those people are some of the most legendary players in NBA history.
